We’re hiring! We are looking for customer-focused Product Specialists / Retail Salesperson who can guide people from their first question to a great finished result.
We have two positions to fill immediately:
- Full Time
- Part Time with potential to become Full Time based on business needs
This role is centered on the customer experience from start to finish: responding to leads, learning what the customer actually wants, explaining options clearly, building the right solution, and ensuring the customer is thrilled after the install with a proper demo and follow-up.
Pay, sign-on, relocation, and referral bonus
- Pay is commensurate with experience. Highly experienced individuals can earn $30–$35+ per hour. Entry-level (no experience) starts at $15.60/hour.
- Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation expenses may be considered for the right candidate.
Referral bonus
- $250 referral bonus if you are the first person to connect us with a candidate who is hired and performs successfully (as determined by Sweet Sounds) for 6 months.

Position details
Product Specialist
- Full Time or Part Time
- No weekends

Schedule
- Full Time: Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours/week
- No weekends
- Start/end times vary slightly for coverage and customer needs (generally between 8:45 AM and 5:15 PM)
- Part Time: flexible hours
What you’ll do
- Respond to customer inquiries online, by phone, and in person
- Provide a professional, friendly experience from first contact to follow-up
- Ask great questions to understand needs, vehicle details, and goals
- Explain products and options clearly, including benefits and trade-offs
- Build quotes and recommendations that fit the customer’s goals and budget
- Schedule and confirm appointments and stage install parts
- Write clear work orders and coordinate with the other staff
- Deliver a great finish: walk-through, demonstration, and follow-up after installation
- Perform ignition interlock calibrations (training provided)
- Keep showroom and displays tidy, labeled, and current
- Basic inventory tasks (receiving, labeling)
Who we’re looking for
We prefer a candidate with a proven track record in sales and customer service. Experience is preferred but not required; we will consider training an exceptional candidate.

- Other 12-volt experience (fabrication, accessories, lighting, and more)

Additional requirements
- All potential hires will be subject to a background check. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.
- Comfortable using a computer for quotes, scheduling, and customer communication.
- Must be able to move and work in and around vehicles and occasionally lift/carry/move up to 100 lbs (with assistance as needed), such as loaded subwoofer boxes and equipment.
