Our friends at Kia of Mankato brought us a couple of Kia Sedona minivans in need of rear seat entertainment systems. However, each vehicle had unique requirements. One of the vans needed the video for the second-row passengers while the other van, with a sunroof, needed the video for just the third-row passengers.
Of course, we chose the trusty Alpine PKG-RSE3 for both vans. Simply the most-reliable overhead video system on the market, it’s the best choice. As we always do, we mounted the Alpine unit to the steel structure above the headliner. Attaching it to the steel structure allows us to be sure the unit will never come loose in the case of an accident. In addition to being safer, making use of the metal structure is more vibration-resistant, which is of utmost importance. Having kids watch a vibrating screen often leads to car sickness. Nothing less than the best is acceptable to us.
