1) Most vehicles need a vehicle-specific interface module for proper installation. For about 85% of vehicles we work on, this module costs $125, including labor. Some vehicles do not require any module, while others may need two modules, a more advanced module, or additional labor, which can increase the cost. Examples of popular vehicles we work on that often require higher-cost modules or extra labor include Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Range Rover, Porsche, and VW.
2) We maintain a mostly complete list of vehicles that qualify for the standard $125 interface. You can check if your vehicle is covered by reviewing our Standard Interface Vehicle List.
3) If your vehicle is not listed, call us at 507-345-8863 or email info@sweetsounds.com for accurate pricing. Some newer vehicles are already covered by the standard interface but have not yet been added to the list.
4) If your vehicle requires a more expensive interface or additional labor, the extra cost will be collected at the time of installation. We always provide this information before any work begins. No surprises!
5) We can install remote starts on most manual transmission vehicles. Be sure to select the manual transmission option during checkout, as an additional fee applies. 7) Online purchasing is available for local installation only. We do not ship remote start systems.

9) Limit of five remote start systems per customer. Not valid with any other discounts or sale prices. Price includes basic installation. Additional parts or labor may be required depending on the vehicle. Supplies are limited. No rainchecks and no price protection. Sale prices may differ between in-store, phone, and online orders. All systems include remote start and lock/unlock functions, and some include trunk release. These features require the vehicle’s power locks and trunk release to be in working condition. If your vehicle has an existing aftermarket remote start or alarm system, a removal fee will be added to the total cost.

What is this Interface Module I hear about?
About 80-90% of vehicles we work on will require a $125 Interface Module to install the system in a vehicle. This price is in addition to the sale prices shown here. However, some vehicles do not need any additional parts or labor and will be priced as listed. Likewise, since we install remote starts in BMW’s, Audi’s, Mercedes Benz’s, Range Rover’s and other European and Exotic vehicles some will require additional parts and/or labor and are more expensive.
