• Sony XAV-AX5500 Radio: The factory-installed, basic AM/FM CD radio was replaced with the Sony AX5500. This advanced system offers wireless remote control, hands-free calling, streaming Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. It’s a powerhouse with three sets of high-voltage preouts, ensuring a clean signal to your amplifiers.
• Alpine KTA-450 Amplifier: For crystal-clear sound, we added the Alpine KTA 450, a four-channel power pack amplifier delivering 50 watts per channel. This compact yet powerful amplifier drives the new speakers to perfection.
• DD Audio DM1500a Subwoofer Amplifier: To give the bass a serious boost, we installed the DD Audio DM 1500a amplifier, which delivers 1500 watts RMS power to the subwoofers. This ensures deep, rich bass that fills out the sound, making every drive more enjoyable.
• Memphis Audio MJMECHEV8D1 Dual 8″ Subwoofer Enclosure: One of the highlights of this project was the installation of this MJMECHEV8D1—the Memphis Audio dual 8″ custom-fit subwoofer enclosure. This ported enclosure, with its bedliner finish, fits snugly in the back of the truck and delivers powerful, high-quality bass. It’s durable, stylish, and sounds incredible. Designed to fit in the Sierra and Silverado from 2007 to 2024, this setup packs a serious punch that really fills in the low end response for both the Bose and non Bose equipped trucks.
• JBL Club Series Speakers: To replace the factory speakers, we installed JBL Club Series speakers. In the front, we used the 605CSQ component set, known for its superior sound quality, with tweeters placed in the factory locations on the pillars and 6.5-inch woofers in the doors. In the rear, matching coaxial speakers were installed, providing a consistent, high-fidelity audio experience throughout the vehicle.

• License Plate Backup Camera: We installed a license plate backup camera with infrared lighting, providing better visibility at night. Whether you’re backing up or loading trailers, this camera makes the process safer and easier.
• Stinger Expert Series Power Kit: To ensure all the new equipment operates flawlessly, we used the Stinger Expert Series power kit. The installation was meticulously done, with high-quality fuse holders and properly crimped terminals, ensuring a reliable and clean setup.
• USB Ports: The factory cigarette lighter plug was replaced with new USB ports, allowing for easy connection to the radio for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as charging devices.
• DD Audio Bass Knob: For ultimate control over the subwoofer output, we added the DD Audio bass knob, featuring a low voltage light and a clipping light. This allows the driver to monitor the subwoofer’s performance and prevent damage from overheating.
